A Dollhouse Conundrum

A Secret Lair of Furniture & Dolls

April 20th through November 1st

Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts
Dollhouse Gallery

Join us in a special dollhouse enigma at our latest exhibit from the Elizabeth Johnston Prime Dollhouse Collection, It’s a Mystery. See the collection's four “mystery houses” and learn about why they earned the name.

Two of these will be two of our cupboard dollhouses from the mid nineteenth century, where a seemingly mundane cupboard actually hides a secret lair of miniature furniture, decorative arts and dolls.  The only way to find out more about these mystifying marvels is to visit the Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts this spring.
