2010 Christmas City, USA On December 24th, 1741, our city was christened "Bethlehem" by the Moravian Count Nicholas Ludwig von Zinzendorf. In 1937, we were deemed "Christmas City, USA". Historic Bethlehem's tours, sites and programs are a great way to reflect upon your own meaning of the holidays while immersed in Bethlehem's quiet beauty.
