JUST FOR KIDS! Hunt for History Club ©2012 1-800-360-TOUR FREE for children with paid adult admission of $7 (Limit 2 children per $7)
Games, stories, crafts and more -- all in the name of HISTORY! "Mom, you should have told me about the club. I thought it would be weird but its a lot of fun!" - Ashley, 7 yrs old, new Hunt for History Club member May 4: Paper in Bloom This Hunt for History meeting you will make your own paper with real flora and fauna! Club members will be introduced you to papermaking processes, using recycled paper, dried plant materials and flowers. You will learn about the process of simple paper-making, producing paper that can be used for other art projects such as collage, or simply as an artwork itself. Make paper batches and learn how to include color and other materials to add texture and interest. Location: Smithy June 1: Hooked on History July 6: Plein Air Painting August 3: Sounds of Summer September 7: Magnificent Marbleizing October 5: Fall Fest November 2: Picture This! December7: Jingle Bells Club members qualify for special club rankings by keeping track of visits on your official club card: 3+ club visits = Researcher 6+ club visits = Investigator 9+ club visits = Historian
