House on the Lecha - Moravian Museum of Bethlehem

This interactive and exciting museum visit starts your study of the Moravians in Bethlehem at the place where it all began; in Bethlehem's oldest standing building! Discover the 1741 Gemeinhaus or the "House on the Lecha," once the centerpiece of Bethlehem's Moravian life, work, society and worship.

Explore the Gemeinhaus (Moravian Museum) with the use of historic documents, artifacts, and reproduction items. Content is based on American Colonial history and local history as it relates to early Bethlehem residents.

Reservations are required for all programs 3 weeks in advance. A $25 per day, per site non-refundable deposit is required for all on-site bookings.
