5 Recipes to Get You Inspired for Apple Days!

August 29th, 2018 |

Fall is coming up sooner than you think, and we can’t wait! The autumn leaves, crisp fall air, and spooky Halloween festivities are pretty great… but what we really love about fall is the food (who doesn’t?). From pumpkin spice lattes to a delicious piece of apple pie (our personal favorite), these fall-flavors have us craving autumn all year round. That’s part of why we love the Apple Days Culinary Contest so much; we can celebrate one of fall’s freshest flavors and even have a chance to take home first or second place!

The Adult Culinary Contest will be held on Saturday, September 8 at 1pm and the Kids Under 15 Culinary Contest will be held on Sunday, September 9 at 1pm. Recipe must include at least 1 cup of apples and must be printed and submitted with the entry at the festival. Entries will be judged based on flavor, texture, appearance, originality, and process. Prizes will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place winners. Refrigeration is not available at Apple Days, please bring a cooler if your entry needs to stay cold!

Register online for free today and show us your baking skills!

We encourage participants to submit entries of all kinds, including but not limited to apple pies, doughnuts, turnovers, crisps, cupcakes, dumplings, cobblers, muffins, and more.
