Exploring our Identities as Lehigh Valley Women: Then and Now

June 27th, 2018 |

You are cordially invited to step into the Single Sisters’ House… where the Bethlehem community has celebrated female empowerment, education, and achievement since 1748.

The Single Sisters Series aims to unite the vision of the Single Sisters of historic Moravian Bethlehem with our community’s vision today through various workshops, classes, and lectures that celebrate our bonds as Lehigh Valley Women.

Join us this summer for the following workshops proudly sponsored by Fig Bethlehem to take advantage of this unique opportunity to explore the historic Single Sisters’ House while simultaneously building upon your skills, creative passions, and interests!

Product Photography for Small Businesses

Saturday, July 14th from 1-4 PM

Learn to photograph your products and items to align with your personal brand, boost your online audience, generate leads, maximize the marketability of your items, and grow a successful business through visual storytelling.

Ideal for small business owners, artists and creatives, attendees of this three-hour class will work under the guidance of professional photographer Kristen Merie Wieder to learn the ins and outs of setting up a product photoshoot as well as how to advertise on social media.

Kristen has worked in freelance marketing and social media for the past 6 years. Her photography can be found in publications such as Real Simple Magazine, Refinery 29, and Vogue. This past year, she launched her own business, Wildflower Marketing, where she collaborates with the local community and small business owners.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own cameras (even cell phone cameras work!) and the product they wish to photograph. Participants must sign a photo permission form with Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites prior to starting the class.

Pricing is $45 for HBMS Members, $50 for Non-Members. Seats are limited—register today!
