Spend a crisp fall day on our Old Bethlehem Walking Tour, experience Bethlehem’s oldest cemetery on the Cemetery Tour: Death & Dying, and enjoy some fall festivities at our Apple Days & Market To Go. 1. Apple Days & Market To Go

September 21-27
Weekday Drive-Thru pickup, Weekend Timed Tickets

What better way to celebrate fall than with an apple themed market in September? Join us for fall, family fun at the historic Burnside Plantation with live musicians, outdoor games, scarecrow building, a haybale maze, and of course to eat delicious apple baked goods. This 7th annual tradition is a favorite among the Lehigh Valley community. Timed ticket admission is available September 26 & 27, and only $3 per person for a 90-minute time slot. The best part? Kids enjoy a free craft & activity bag with admission including a fall leaf window ornament activity!

Don’t have time to come visit but still want to enjoy everything apple? This year with our adapted Market To Go, we have made it easy to enjoy all your favorite parts of our annual apple celebration in a safe way! You can pre-order your favorite fall treats, including: Apple Pie, Dumplings, Strudel, Apple Cider Donuts & more! Drive-thru pickup takes place during the week, September 21-25, from 12-6pm at Burnside Plantation. Make it convenient for your schedule – pick your specific pickup date and time at checkout! 2. Cemetery Tour: Death & Dying

September & October, Saturdays & Sundays at 3 pm
$15 for non-members, $10 for HBMS members, $9 for children (ages 4-17)

Don’t worry, there are no ghosts on this tour! A certified costumed guide will meet you at the HBMS Schropp Dry Goods Shoppe and teach you everything you are “dying” to know about the early Moravians and their funerary traditions. During the tour, you’ll be able to stroll through God’s Acre – Bethlehem’s oldest cemetery. Your personal guide will tell stories people behind the names you will find there! If you love history, you will enjoy the hearing stories and seeing artifacts as a part of Cemetery Tour: Death & Dying. You can purchase tickets here.

3. Old Bethlehem Walking Tour

September, Saturdays & Sundays at 1 pm
$15 for non-members, $10 for HBMS members, $9 for children (ages 4-17)

If you crave history and want to enjoy gorgeous fall weather, this tour is for you! Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites brings history to life on the Old Bethlehem Walking Tour. Starting at the HBMS Schropp Dry Goods Shoppe, you will meet one of our certified guides in period dress. As the walk continues, you will be surrounded by more than 275 years of history as you learn the stories of Bethlehem’s unique beginnings in 1741 and see some of the oldest sites in Bethlehem: the 1741 Gemeinhaus, 1762 Waterworks, 1758 Nain-Schober House, and the 1752 Apothecary.
