July 16th, 2020 |
For decades, the Blueberry Festival has brought your favorite blueberry treats to the Lehigh Valley. Visitors know and love the premade desserts, blueberry-flavored ingredients, coffees, and themed merchandise that come back year after year for the festival. This year, Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites is excited to announce the continuation of a tradition, with a bit of a twist for the times: the Blueberry To Go Market!
Now through July 25, patrons will be able to preorder their purchases through Historic Bethlehem’s website or via phone call. All of the classics will be available, from the “berry” best blueberry desserts, including ice cream, blueberry pie, and coffee cake, to blueberry honey and pancake mix, to pre-packaged boxes such as the Blueberry Treat Dog Box to entertain your furry best friend and the Colonial Toy Box to keep the little ones happy. Don’t see what you were looking forward to on this list? Check out our full list here; chances are, we have it!
All orders will be available for convenient, socially distant pick up from the Burnside Plantation (1461 Schoenersville Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18018) at a scheduled time between July 20 and July 24, 2020. Seniors can pick up early if they wish, from 9:00am – 10:00am, while pick up for the general public is 10:00am – 6:00 pm. To keep the event feeling like Blueberry Festivals of the past, there will be live music, dog agility demonstrations, and an open-air vendors market Saturdays July 18 and 25 and Sundays July 19 and 26. Other onsite activities include the Blueberry Culinary Contest and the Best Blueberry Bonnet Contest. Tickets are also available to reserve a picnic area and alcoholic beverages for a given time slot.
We can’t wait to see you there!
