What Is Mugshots: Oral Histories?

Mugshots: Oral Histories of Musikfest hopes to give recognition to the diverse perspectives, experiences, and memories of Musikfest visitors, while also uniting the community through visitors’ stories and memories through oral history and photography!

What is Oral History?

Did you know that oral history has been practiced
since the Persian War to help commemorate the battle?

Oral history gives people a chance to reminisce and be memorialized by preserving memories,
historical information, past events, or interviews of narrators and witnesses through sound or video recording.
It helps society remember, learn, and grown from the past.
