For the first time ever this year, the Colonial Industrial Quarter will be your Christmas headquarters! Christmas in the Quarter, presented by Albarell Electric, runs Thursday through Sunday now until December 27 and is your one-stop shop for all things Christmas.
Each week we will be offering jolly fun for the whole family through a variety of activities. Stop by our photo op area inside the Luckenbach Mill to take your family Christmas card photo. After that, stop by the craft area for five crafts you can make and take home with you! Crafts include a punched tin ornament, decorate your own Moravian star, create a candy cane ornament, create your own log cabin, marbled ornaments, and pinecone birdfeeders.
Continue the fun outdoors as the Colonial Industrial Quarter will be illuminated for the first time ever each night at dusk, thanks to Albarell Electric Inc.! Throughout the day you can enjoy Christmas music and programs playing on our outdoor movie screen provided by 3 Monkeys to bring some additional cheer to the Quarter. Once you’re feeling hungry stop by the Van Pelt Hot Dog Co. food truck and our outdoor bar featuring Cave Brewing, Xplorer Spirits, and Kilimanjaro Distillery for drinks. Then, retire to one of our Christmas Cottages to relax, warm up, and enjoy your meal!
Want to add on to your holiday experience? Join us for the Dog Costume Contest on Saturday, November 14 by dressing up your pup in their best Christmas costume or sweater. The dogs will parade around the Colonial Industrial Quarter with a prize for the best dressed.
The Young Chefs Academy – Allentown visits Christmas in the Quarter on Saturday, December 12 to host a cookie decorating contest. Bring your best decorating skills to the table for the chance to win a prize for the best decorated cookie! Throughout the day they will also be offering hands-on activities including piping, measuring, pasta rolling, dipping, coating, and more to help you sharpen your skills.
Tickets for Christmas in the Quarter can be purchased online. Following all COVID-19 safety protocols, masks must be worn in all outdoor and indoor spaces except when eating or drinking, social distancing must be practiced while on the grounds, and common surfaces will be frequently disinfected.
