Curious about the peculiar vase from your great aunt?

What about that gold pocket watch in your basement?

Mysteries no more!

Unlock these secrets with a team of expert appraisers on Oct. 8 at the Antique Treasure Show, presented by Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites (HBMS).

Professional appraisers from Dotta Auction, Alderfer Auction, Houser Auctioneers, and the Saucon Valley Auction Company will conduct walk-in and in-depth analysis from noon to 3 p.m. in the tented garden behind the Moravian Museum of Bethlehem (66 West Church St.)

In-depth appraisals are limited to the first 20 sign-ups. Participants should submit photos and any background information about their objects three days before the event. An appraiser will conduct research and issue an official report.

At 1:30 p.m., walk-up appraisals will begin for on-the-spot assessments of one object per person.

In-depth pre-appraisals are $25 for HBMS members and $30 for non-members. Walk-up appraisals are $15 for HBMS members and $20 for non-members.

Don’t have a treasure to appraise? You can join in the excitement and watch. Light refreshments will be served and admission is free to visit the Moravian Museum of Bethlehem. Spectator tickets are free for HBMS members and $5 for non-members.

Purchase tickets online or call 610-882-0450 ext. 25.
