BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Over a thousand people braved the cold weather on Saturday morning for the annual Bethlehem Turkey Trot.

The 5K and Fun Run kicked off at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning in the Colonial Industrial Quarter.

Runners, and walkers, got to see the beauty of Historic Bethlehem.

However, the festivities didn’t end once they crossed the finish line. Participants got to take in the holiday festivities in Bethlehem.

“We are just thrilled to be welcoming people to the holiday season here at Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites. They can see trees of Historic Bethlehem, take the Christmas City stroll, or even hop on the Bethlehem by night motor coach tour.  So there’s a lot of fun, festive things to do in Bethlehem this time of year, and this is really our kick off,” said Lindsey Jancay, Vice President and Managing Director of the Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites.

Proceeds from the run and registration directly benefit Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites.
