BETHLEHEM, Pa. (May 21, 2024)—Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites (HBMS) announced the 32nd annual Rooms to View House & Garden Tour will take place on Saturday, June 8, with a Preview Soiree at a private home on Green Acres Drive in Lower Saucon Township on Friday, June 7.

“From historic homes to modern marvels, each stop on the tour offers a glimpse into the diverse architectural and design heritage of our region,” said LoriAnn Wukitsch, president and CEO of HBMS. “We are grateful to the homeowners who graciously open their doors to our guests, as well as to our dedicated supporters who make this event possible.”

For over 30 years, the Rooms to View tour has offered guests an exclusive look into the beauty of Lehigh Valley residences, stylish kitchens and flourishing gardens. Following this year’s tour of eight homes, the Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts will host a Garden Party Reception from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. All ticketed attendees are invited to join the post-tour gathering and browse the museum’s latest exhibition, Checking In? Bethlehem’s Alluring Accommodations, which opens June 1, 2024.

Homes on the tour this year include a wide range of architectural features and décor including hand-carved crown molding, a Moravian tile fireplace and a collection of items reflecting international travel to Azerbaijan, Uganda and Tanzania. Two homes in the historic district are part of the adaptive restoration of the Second-Empire style mansion constructed for Francis Weiss in 1870, and guests will see the original Carriage House doors, which are now a feature on an exterior wall.

HBMS offers two types of tickets for the tour:

  • Preview Soiree: $135; Ticket includes admission to the Preview Soiree on Friday, June 7, and the House & Garden Tour on Saturday, June 8.
  • House & Garden Tour: $45 for HBMS nonmembers / $35 for HBMS members; Ticket includes admission to only the House & Garden Tour on Saturday, June 8.

The event is supported by the following businesses and organizations:

Tickets are available for purchase through HBMS’s website at www.historicbethlehem.org/experience/house-garden-tour/.
