Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites (HBMS) will host its annual Historic Turkey Trot 5K & Fun Walk on Saturday, Nov. 30 starting at 9 a.m. at the 1869 Luckenbach Mill in the city’s Colonial Industrial Quarter. The event, presented by Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s, will benefit the organization’s programming and preservation of Bethlehem’s history.

The race will feature a 5K course for runners and competitive walkers, along with a 1.7-mile fun walk. A highlight of the event will be the annual pet costume contest, starting at 8:15 a.m., which will feature Turkey Trot-themed attire. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative, thematic and best pet/handler team costumes.

“We are thrilled to celebrate our annual Historic Turkey Trot, especially in light of Moravian Church Settlement–Bethlehem’s recent World Heritage designation,” said LoriAnn Wukitsch, executive director of HBMS. “We invite the community to join us in celebrating both health and heritage. Every step taken in this race supports our mission to protect and promote Bethlehem’s history, ensuring that future generations can enjoy and learn from our unique cultural treasures.”
