Returning for its 31st year, the annual Blueberry Festival will take place 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 21, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 22 at the Burnside Plantation in Bethlehem.
In addition to a wide variety of blueberry-based foods, there will be live entertainment, family activities and a Blueberry Brewery tasting tent with samples of blueberry beer, wine and mead. Craft demonstrations, blueberry pie-eating contests, culinary contests and vendors will round out the attractions.
Live music on three stages will feature returning and new acts, including El Sistema, Temple Avenue Jazz Quintet, Porter and Sayles, January Noon and Cubbage. Also new this year is a “Blueberry Jam” open mic co-hosted by Lehigh Valley Underground.
The plantation is located at 1461 Schoenersville Road. Admission to the festival is $10 for adults, $5 for children, with family and other special packages available. For more information, look online at historicbethlehem.org/blueberry-festival.
