Only one time for this show, they will be providing large and colorful mineral gemstones to correlate with the Colors exhibit.

Stop in to brighten up the winter season with these beautiful pieces. Admission to the Jewelry Trunk Show is free, though donations in support of Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites are warmly appreciated.

Miniature Making 101

Come join the Lehigh Valley Small on Scale Miniature Club in their first hands on class at the Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts on Sunday, November 16 from 1:30pm to 4pm. Meet the members and learn about the art of miniature making.  You will be working closely with Jo Roseberry, an expert miniature craftswoman to create your own piece of miniature furniture!  You will be creating a Christmas themed centerpiece, placed on a pre-made table which you will be provided with.  Perfect for your own dollhouse or just to have on display, this piece is sure to start your holiday season off right!

Don’t forget to visit the Elizabeth Johnston Prime Dollhouse Collection after the class to see our current dollhouse exhibitBright Lights, Big City and find the tables similar to yours amongst the many pieces of antique furniture within the homes.  This exhibit explores city living and industrialization and you are sure to find some colorful table pieces in the extravagant homes on display.

Admission is $12 for HBMS members and $15 for the general public. Reservations are required as space is limited; call Katy Molinaro at 610-882-0450 ext. 10.

These programs are the perfect way to start off the holidays right here in Bethlehem, the “Christmas City.” Be sure to purchase a Pass Into History and experience the cross-site displays of the holiday season, Trees of Christmas Past and Christmas Putzes, starting the same weekend, running until January 4, 2015.
