Curious about that quirky vase that belonged to your great-aunt?
And what's the story behind the gold pocket watch you found in your attic?
It’s time to solve these mysteries and more.
A team of expert appraisers is ready to work with you to uncover these many secrets when the Antique Treasure Show returns noon to 2 p.m. May 6. The event is presented by Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites (HBMS) and will take place at the Moravian Museum of Bethlehem (66 W. Church Street).
Here's how it works.
The team of appraisers will conduct both walk-in and in-depth analyses. In-depth appraisals begin at noon and are limited to the first 20 registered guests. When you sign up, please be prepared to submit photos and a bit of background on your object(s) two weeks before the event. This additional information allows the appraisers to conduct research and issue an official appraiser’s same-day report.
At 1:15 p.m., walk-up appraisals will begin with on-the-spot assessments. One object per person.
Don’t have a treasure to appraise? No problem. Visitors are welcome to join us for the day and can enjoy light refreshments and admission to the Moravian Museum of Bethlehem.
Guest tickets are free for HBMS members and $5 for non-members.
