Celebrate Historic Holidays with
"Christmas City, USA!"

Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites officially kicks off the Christmas season on November 6, 2020!

Christmas Site & Tour Hours

Our sites will be closed on the following days: 
November 26, Thanksgiving Day; December 24, Christmas Eve; December 25, Christmas Day;
December 31, New Years Eve; and January 1, New Years Day.

Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides

Main Street in front of Central Moravian Church

November 27-December 31
Thursday-Sunday: 3 pm-9 pm
December 28-31: 3 pm-9 pm

These cozy, serene horse-drawn carriage rides through Bethlehem's beautiful downtown are the perfect way to enjoy the lights, sights, and sounds of Christmas City with your family and friends.

Christmas City Stroll

November 2-December 30
Monday-Friday: 1 pm & 3 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 1 pm, 3 pm & 7 pm

Take a walk through beautiful downtown Historic Bethlehem with our certified guide in period dress. Discover the story of Bethlehem's unique beginning in 1741, the tales of a candle-in-every-window, and the renowned Bethlehem Star.

Christmas in the Quarter

Colonial Industrial Quarter, 459 Old York Road

November 6-December 27
Thursday-Sunday: 2 pm-8 pm

The Historic Colonial Industrial Quarter is the perfect setting for holiday festivities. Activities include pop-up shopping, Putz displays, a winter art exhibition, Christmas Huts, Colonial Blacksmith demonstrations, and warming stations. It's fun for the whole family!

Burnside Greens Sale & Market

1461 Schoenersville Road

November 27-December 13
Friday-Sunday: 10 am-4 pm

Enjoy rustic winter fun at Burnside Plantation this holiday season. Find your perfect tree at our tree sale and don't miss the holiday greens sale and winter garden. Other offerings celebrate the farm's historic roots through hands-on activities, a barn bake sale, outdoor displays, family photo ops, and pop-up shops.

Holiday Closures

The Visitor Center and Museums & Sites will be closed the following days during the holiday season:

  • Thanksgiving – November 26
  • Christmas Eve & Christmas Day – December 24 & 25
  • New Year’s Eve & New Year's Day –  December 31 & January 1

*Appointment Tours:

Tours may be scheduled by appointment outside of regular operating hours. 24 hours notice is requested for all appointments. Minimum charge of $36 to schedule an appointment tour for non-members. Member appointments are free. Please call 1-800-360-TOUR with questions or to schedule.
