Local Spotlight Artist

The Local Artist Spotlight at Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites provides artists from the Lehigh Valley and nearby regions with the opportunity to exhibit their work in the context of Bethlehem’s historic sites and collections.

Through thoughtful exhibitions, these artists provide new context and interpretations of the space, artifacts and history surrounding their work.

The Local Artist Spotlight began with the gallery located in Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts thanks, in part, to the support from Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission and Lehigh Valley Community Foundation.

As of 2016, the series has expanded to include installations in the Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts Garden, and the 1810 Goundie House, with the potential to include additional Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites locations in the future.
