Art at Home

Through January 31, 2022

Art At Home celebrated the reopening of the Kemerer Museum of the Decorative Arts while exploring the personal connection between artwork and the home.  The exhibit featured artwork on loan from private collections and gave the spotlight to local artists who loaned their time and talents in support of HBMS' mission.  Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites has introduced the more than 600 works of art by local artists into homes across the region and country through 28 years of the Holiday Dinner and Art Auction

Proceeds from all artworks purchased through HBMS go directly toward the care and preservation of our 20 historic buildings and sites.

Moravian Legacy

Through January 31, 2022

The Moravian Legacy  explored the continued impact of Moravian settlement in Bethlehem. It connected themes including equal education, innovation, and the arts from the early settlement to present-day Bethlehem. Dominant historical narratives around early Moravian Bethlehem were challenged by asking what is left out? Looking at how what is missing continues to inform our understanding of the influence of Moravian Bethlehem on today's local community.
