Colonial Dance Lessons: Bethlehem Heritage Dancers
A newly formed group in the Lehigh Valley to promote dancing of all styles and eras. At this event they plan to demonstrate and provide simple instruction (encourage participation) for several dances taken from the John Playford’s 17th century dance manual, The English Dancing Master. These types of dances are often seen in Regency period films such as Emma and Pride and Prejudice.
