- Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites and Main Street Bethlehem – Nominated to the U.S. Tentative List for the UNESCO World Heritage List, Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites is home to stories of European influences that made their mark on colonial America and then grew into a city that embraces tradition and life. Once you’ve enjoyed learning of local history, take a stroll down Main Street Bethlehem where you can enjoy dozens of restaurants, art galleries, and shops while gazing upon the 81-foot-tall steel “Star of Bethlehem” that radiates from atop South Mountain.
- Lehigh Valley Covered Bridges – Journey back in time to a quieter, more peaceful way of life during the Lehigh Valley covered bridge tour. Home to seven out of the more than 200 covered bridges in Pennsylvania, Lehigh Valley’s covered bridges showcase the region’s rich history while providing visitors a charming colorful backdrop as the flowers bloom.
- Bake Oven Knob – Passing near the Appalachian Trail, Bake Oven Knob is a favorite among locals thanks to its gorgeous views from two lookout points. An incredible and unique treasure, the Bake Oven Knob rock is nearly 430 million years old and was once formed somewhere on the shores of the ancient Iapetus ocean.
- Bluebells at Lock Ridge Park – Even if rain is in the forecast, a trip to Lock Ridge Park to witness the fields of bluebells would surely brighten anyone’s day. Equally striking are the ruins of the Lock Ridge Furnace, which sits among the 59-acre park and was built in 1868 by the Lock Ridge Iron Company to help bring America to the forefront as an industrial giant.

While you’re on the campus, take a leisurely stroll on the Hoover Mason Trestle and imagine life as it was when Bethlehem Steel was in full operation.
