New Vintage & Harvest Market Comes to Historic Burnside on September 19

Bethlehem’s famous Apple Days Festival is bigger and better than ever with a new name to match the new size. The Bethlehem Vintage & Harvest Market, in collaboration with our friends from Bethlehem Vintage Market, is the perfect autumn family activity in the Lehigh Valley, and an easy day trip from Philadelphia and New York. The family-friendly event takes place Saturday, September 19 from 10 AM – 4 PM at Historic Burnside.

Come hungry! Bakers are whipping up all the popular apple desserts you look forward to every year, including apple pies, apple cider donuts, apple fritters, apple dumplings, apple strudels, apple crullers, and everyone’s favorite caramel apple ice cream. When you’ve had all the apples you want, maybe you’ll have room to change it up with some pumpkin spice ice cream, molasses cookies, cranberry orange scones, pumpkin coffee cake, or pumpkin pie. This year features the most desserts ever!

A new vintage shopping experience in Bethlehem

While you enjoy your treats, you can search for vintage treasures. We’ve partnered with the Bethlehem Vintage Market to put together the biggest vintage vendor market you’ve ever seen. A DJ spinning vintage vinyl will set the vibe while you explore 75 booths of collectibles, antiques, heirlooms, and unique finds. It’s a vintage lover’s paradise.

A weekend event for everyone from kids to grandparents in the Lehigh Valley

The Bethlehem Vintage & Harvest Market includes lots of fun for the kids too. They’ll be able to dive into history with 18th- and 19th-century crafts, complete with the vintage theme. Bring the grandparents too, because this is the perfect intergenerational event.

The tasting ticket includes five samples, if purchased in advance, (four if purchased day-of), plus admission to the market!

What is Burnside Plantation?

Burnside Plantation is where old school meets cool, a historic 6.5-acre farm in the heart of Bethlehem that’s been around long enough to call it a classic. Founded in 1748 by James and Mary Burnside, it was Bethlehem’s first privately held property before coming part of the Moravian farming system and passing through several families over the centuries. Today, the preserved property includes the restored 1748/1818 farmhouse, two 1840s bank barns, a summer kitchen, corn crib, wagon shed, heritage apple orchard, and the award-winning Louise W. Dimmick Kitchen Garden, all of which are open to visit during the market.
