At The Moravian Museum: Write a Letter Home and Close it With a Real Wax Seal

Imagine that you are spending an evening at the Sun Inn in the 1760s. Write a letter back home sharing your observations. Once you’re finished, close your letter with a real wax seal!

Saturdays at Burnside

Guests and volunteers at the You Point, We Pick program at Burnside Gardens

The first Saturday of each month from May-October we invite the public to visit Burnside Plantation for historic free fun!

Visitors will learn more about our “farm in the city” which has been a part of the Moravian community since 1748. Visitors of all ages can tour the Burnside House and barn and experience colonial cooking demonstrations in the Summer Kitchen.

On Saturday, July 6th from 10 am – noon guests are invited to make their own bee hotel while they learn about the crucial role bees play in pollination.
