Me & My Dollhouse Summer Camp


Experience the world of dolls and dollhouses in a new way!

Spend a week at the Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts exploring the dollhouse collection of Elizabeth Johnston Prime and learning about decorative arts. Each week-long session is limited to just 15 children ages 7-12.

Monday, July 6 - Friday, July 10

Monday, July 27 - Friday, July 31

Monday, August 10 - Friday, August 14

Camp runs 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM each day

Campers will get up close and personal with the Elizabeth Johnston Prime dollhouse collection, one of the largest in the United States, and then apply what they learned to their very own dollhouse! On the last day parents are welcome for a dollhouse show and tell. All campers will be able to take their finished dollhouse home at the end of the week.

Register and pay for the camp at the first link below. Download and fill out the form at the second link below and return completed to Alecia Caballero, acaballero@historicbethlehem.org. Both must be completed to register for the camp.

$125 per child for HBMS members at the Family level and above
$150 per child for non-members and members below Family level
Price includes dollhouse, crafting materials, and daily snack.

Camp scholarships available through the generosity of the Jones Children Fund.

Daily Schedule

  • 7:30-8:15 AM: Camper drop-off and playtime at 427 N. New Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018
  • 8:15-9:15 AM: Time spent with the Elizabeth Johnston Prime dollhouse collection
  • 9:15-10:15 AM: Construction/decoration of own dollhouse
  • 10:15-10:45 AM: Snack break (snack included with registration)
  • 10:45-11:45 AM: Construction/decoration of own dollhouse
  • 11:45 AM-12:30 PM: Clean-up, playtime, camper pickup at 427 N. New Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018
