Saturdays at Burnside
Each Saturday we invite you to visit Burnside Plantation for historic fun! Parking is available on site.
Visitors will be able to learn more about the barns, buildings, and gardens that have been a part of the Moravian community since 1748. Bring the kids along for fun outdoor activities and crafts each week! Burnside Plantation is also dog-friendly, so bring your furry friends along as well!
Weekly Activities include:
- Meet the Gardeners
- Peek inside the Burnside House
- Experience the Summer Kitchen
- Complete the Burnside leg of the Heritage Trail
- Monthly and weekly kid's crafts and activities
- Burnside Barn Tour
April Kid's Activities
Kids will be able to discover the Colonial Garden and do a fun farm craft during their visit. Every month there is a new craft to make each weekend with extra activities on certain weekends. These outdoor activities and crafts are fun for visitors of any age! See the monthly schedule below.

Plant a seed - Learn about what our gardeners do in the Burnside Garden and plant your own seed to take home!

Easter at Burnside - Join our Easter egg hunt around Burnside & make a special Easter craft!

Make a Photo Frame - Create a photo frame that will be new-to-you. Take the chance to get a neat photo-op at Burnside!
