The Old Bethlehem Walking Tour
Learn about Bethlehem's fascinating roots as you take a tour of the Moravian Historic District.
Learners will discover the story of Bethlehem's unique beginning in 1741, see many of the oldest buildings in Bethlehem, including a stop inside the 1741 Gemeinhaus - a National Historic Landmark - and gain a greater understanding of this unique multicultural colonial community.
Programs are aligned with the Pennsylvania Common Core Standards.

Explore Bethlehem's early trades and industries.
The Colonial Industrial Quarter Walking Tour
Explore the remains of America's earliest industrial park - the Colonial Industrial Quarter - to learn about the many crafts, trades, and industries which helped early Bethlehem thrive.
Learners will discover the importance of colonial trades such as tanning, weaving, grist-milling, and metalsmithing, while also learning about the industries that were essential in early Moravian Bethlehem. Tours include a chance to see inside the reconstructed 1750 Smithy and the 1762 Waterworks - a National Historic Landmark!
