Historic Bethlehem and Peter Vogt invite you to the annual Jeanette Barres Zug Lecture at the Gemeinhaus Saal, Moravian Museum on October 19 at 11:30 AM.
Peter Vogt’s talk called Pious Innkeeper and Godly Tavern focuses on the role of the church in the taverns. It is well known that members of the 18th century Moravian movement traveled a lot. Less well-known but equally important was the task of welcoming and accommodating visitors who came to their settlements.
The Lecture is free to attend, but registration is required through a free ticket.
