Vintage baseball game to turn Bethlehem’s Burnside Plantation into ‘Field of Dreams’

LEHIGH VALLEY LIVE, MARCH 20, 2023 —When the work week ends, web developer Chris Goerning of Philadelphia shuts off his computer, grabs a bat and ball, and pretends it’s 1864. He’s one of the dozen or so members of the Athletic Baseball Club of Philadelphia, a vintage baseball squad who will compete in a special exhibition at Bethlehem’s Burnside Plantation on Saturday, April 1. The event is hosted by Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites.
