Kivka Pottery

“I mix locally-dug creek clay with commercial clay because I believe the natural imperfections add to the character of the pieces. Dark spots and streaks on the glaze are caused by small stones, iron in the clay and other impurities in the clay body. Small imperfections in the clay surface (burnouts) are caused by organic matter burning out in the kiln. – Enjoy, Kivka”

All glazes are food safe and all pieces are dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe.
