Pet Portraits

October 26, 2014

Burnside Plantation

Free Admission

The dog days aren’t over yet in Historic Bethlehem. HBMS invites you to bring your furry little ones to Burnside Plantation for Pet Portraits, an event inspired by the Portraits exhibit, located at the Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts.

Capture your pet’s perfect pose with the beautiful, picturesque autumn backdrop of Burnside Plantation. Get in the spirit of Halloween and dress your dog in costume for the perfect holiday picture! There will be set locations and props around the plantation to help create your rustic masterpiece. Bring your own camera to photograph your pet, or let us take the photos for you.

Think your pet can take home the award for “best picture”? Pick the perfect shot and send it to [email protected] to be posted on our Facebook page. The pet portrait with the most likes by November 1 will win their owner a 4-site Pass Into History!

This event is free, though donations to preserve three centuries of Bethlehem’s history are encouraged. While HBMS envisions mainly canine portrait-sitters, other well-behaved small animals are welcome to participate.
