About The Painter

Sergei Yaralov started studying art as a young child in his home country of Georgia, formerly a part of the Soviet Union. In 1992, he followed his future wife Marina to the United States; she is from the Ukraine and had family here in the Lehigh Valley.

Having studied architecture in college, he combines his interest in the built environment with his love of painting.

Today, he works mostly in oils but also enjoys doing pen and ink drawings. His subject matter is varied from street scenes of Bethlehem and New York City to portraits and the occasional still life. His gallery is located in the heart of Historic Bethlehem at 462 Main Street, located across from the Historic Bethlehem Visitor Center.
